As part of the Mathematics of Planet Earth 2013 initiative, a colleague is developing a webpage full of resources about Calculus problems involving Earth Science. She attended the MAA short course on Conceptual Climate Models. I helped organize the course and presented a talk for it at Augsburg College, in Minneapolis. She put together a great post on the talk that I presented for that workshop. The slides for that talk can be found on the resources tab of the MAA website.
